Spring is in the air which means that the Tribeca Film Festival is in full bloom. You gotta love Robert DeNiro and Jane Rosenthal for taking the bull by the horns and rallying the movie business to create, yet another film festival. V is For Victory for Voluminously, Voluptuous Women. To be clear, V Magazine is doing a whole issue with plus-sized models. This is a major statement for the normally anorexic audience that reads most uber-fabulous glossies. Didn’t they all start the trend in vomiting and other such lovely feats of strength to look thin and gorgeous. As a past fatty, I am glad that V is willing to dedicate this much attention and resources to acknowledge this audience. Ladies, get out your underwear. In light of the hard hit economy, and the teetering luxury goods business, there’s a great way to be up to the minute in fashion without buying a thing. The answer? Wear nothing. I kid you not. I am not saying buy nothing new. I mean wear actually nothing. Now you can  prance around in your skivvies AND be in vogue. How fantastic is that?
