Upon reading the dismal report on Anderson Cooper’s ratings woes, I wanted to give CNN a heads up on what they can do to sway the tide. First of all, Anderson Cooper is adorable. And when he is reporting from New Orleans, or Iraq and even the top of the Beverly Center in Los Angeles, that’s when he is most compelling. Perez Hilton needs to stop trashing Clay Aiken’s child. Sure, Clay Aiken has been plenty annoying since he did not win American Idol. The phenomenon of A.I. has created several out-of-the-blue superstars…and I use that term VERY loosely here. Whether Clay should continue to be fodder for Perez is one thing (even though he is on the cusp of being a has-been). But his kid…is another. Referring to “Clay Gayken and His Gayby” goes completely against Perez’s whole stance on gay rights. The reason I started I Mean…What?!? was to draw attention the nonsense that fills the airwaves. The modern day media frenzy has become the master ill of our time; destroying the lives of Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan. Granted, they are annoying, but two wrongs don’t make a right.
