Leave Miley Cyrus Alone

Q. What is the meaning of hypocrisy? A. The pretense of having some desirable or publicly approved attitude. FACT: You cannot walk around trashing Miley Cyrus for doing a lap dance with an old queen like Adam Shankman and consider the new Miss USA marketing campaign a good idea. FACT: You cannot watch Jersey Shore and think it is hilarious, anxiously waiting Season Two, then judge Miley Cyrus for being too young to be sexy. FACT: You cannot be a self-righteous Tea Bagger (Sarah Palin) with a daughter that just so happens to be a teenage mother out of wedlock.… Read More »

In a stunning politically correct move, Miss Michigan – Rima Fakih was crowned Miss USA 2010. Granted, she is beautiful, and perhaps indeed the rightful winner, but not having watched the show, I can not say whether she won hands down or whether she was crowned as a ploy to improve Arab-America relations abroad. Let’s go with the idea that she won on all her merits….riveting as they must be. Congratulations. Now, I am all for racy, but didn’t Carrie Prejean…nutbag hypocrite extraordinaire…get chastised for being a skank? Will this new pageant action shift the talent portion of the evening? Will we see Fellatio?… Read More »

I’m almost embarrassed to admit that I watched part of the Miss USA “Pageant” last night and can’t believe what a bubble those women live in.  Last night’s show was like watching RuPaul’ Drag Race on MTV earlier this year. You have a group of overly made up (lip-liner for days), big-haired, plastic-looking people vying for the top spot, waltzing around on stage in bad Debbie Reynolds Vegas drag, glittered up the ass, and answering silly questions. So, what’s the difference? At least with Drag Race, there were more laughs. When people take themselves too seriously, it’s hard to really… Read More »
