Bring me back to these times.

Something strange is happening in the denim business that’s affecting my desire to even wear jeans. Denim is so over-exposed that it’s begun to lose its fresh, fashionable appeal. A tight-fitting pair of jeans has — and always will — look very sexy on the right butt. But lately, more people than not are:

A. Not very sexy.
B. Wearing an unflattering cut.

Nothing comes between me and my Snookis.

I have worked with cool denim brands over the years. Was intimately involved in the launch of the “Baggie Jean” for Sasson, not to mention the iconic “Ooh La La Sasson” campaign in the 70’s. For the past five years have raised the profile of Amsterdam-based G-STAR here in the United States through strategic partnerships and events. Memories, light the corners of my mind.

There are very few times that one gets to relive their past, that is unless you are Shirley Maclaine. Last night, Studio 54 had a one night only reunion of sorts. Actually, it was a promotion for the new Sirius Radio Station with the same name but let’s not split hairs here.
