The Debate is a really a cartoon.

Debate 2012 is a sham or is it a shame? Leave it up to Americans to place their entire emotional investment–not to mention their futures–on a fleeting moment. The prism of a Presidential campaign encompasses years, not to mention the scope of the careers of our Presidential candidates, Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. Comparatively speaking, a 90-minute debate is nothing but a fleeting moment. Our society has spiraled down to a Dancing With The Stars while Keeping Up With The Kardashians trajectory that leaves us pacified by our iPhones and numb to the important of reference. America's Next Top. That has a ring to it, no?

Here’s what Tyra Banks needs to do in order to revive her signature television show, America’s Next Top Model, the project that put her on the top of the reality television heap along with Heidi Klum’s Project Runway. But like all good things, and I include both of those shows, they die out. If Seinfeld and Mary Tyler Moore can overstay their welcome, believe me, these gals have too. Every entertainment management firm is out there selling their talent to anyone that will pay anything, in an… Read More »

Somebody stick a fork in me to see if I am totally cooked. The Story of the Week in Women’s Wear Daily is Fashion Video Games Target Female Customers. How depressing is that? The big news, in addition to the fact that it’s bad news from my vantage point, is that Project Runway is doing a video game. Yes, now you too can have hours of fun booting people out of the house, designing nonsense, and hearing Hedi Klum say “auf wiedersehen” from the comfort of your couch…all day long. Don’t get me wrong, I love Heidi and the TV… Read More »
