Now we see that there is a global consciousness to dressing manzies. Sure, I mean…what?!? may have been the one to coin that phrase, but let’s face it… designers have been hell bent on feminizing men for centuries. Look no further than the French courtesans. As London Fashion Week wound down, it was not easy to find a lot of menswear designers until thanks to Zimbio, boy did I find a doozie. The show was called Man…which was to promote Topman. Let me say here that I use that term loosely because ain’t no man I know gonna wear this stuff. And if they did, we can all agree that this man would NOT be a top.
This copper two piece set, complete with tapered sweat-style pants and cape-let style, poncho drama top is all sorts of ridic.
This bejeweled nonsense would work on his mother.
This silhouette is so not working for me. First of all, this over-sized fisherman's sweater would look better with David Lerner Leggings.
This she-male or fe-man looks perfectly comfortable in this ensemble. Only problem is, you can't tell what gender you are if you wear this. So, if that's you bag...here you go. This will be sold at Opening Ceremony. Fotz.
These over-glorified jammies are what to wear when you are so hung over, have not coffee in the house and have to run to the deli for a cup of coffee and a Coke.
Here we see that Lady Gaga has inspired Topman for this silliness.
Can we sing this song together...Something in the way shoe moves...OKIDEER.
This outfit is something that Auntie Mame would wear. Right?
The ass end of this get up is totally ridiculous. Bye.
HI! ,
I really don't like silly clothes on men. I want men to look either rough and ready LL Bean lumberjack or elegantly Kors Madmen chic.
But I did like the leggings with the big o sweater very let's get away for a cabin vaca – v sexy.
All the outfits I have to say I would wear — so much so I think I have found my Winter 09 style!
Much Love Abe! ,
Patty Hughes
xoxo!
this did make me laugh out loud in my office, especially the last one with the bow on the butt.
Once again,Honest Abe,putting it all in perspective, meanwhile menswear designer seemingly insisting on putting the 'purse' in their purse-pective of menswear-lollerskates…
