Now here’s  a story that makes me cringe. Zooey Deschanel, the indie film darling is suing Steve Madden for a couple of million bucks from some sort of celebrity designer deal gone awry. There is much speculation as to why Carine Roitfeld resigned from French Vogue. I was at a holiday party last night where a tony crowd of fashionistas were a buzz about why, who, what, when. etc. Naturally, I, being Polyanna think that the reason is because Carine is so fierce.
