It’s the weekend, and after a long ass week, the only thing I want to know or write about is cute news. Cute news are things that make you say “Awwww”. Chelsea Clinton is getting married this summer. Awwww. Word is that she and long-time love Mark Mezvinsky will tie the knot in August in Martha’s Vineyard. Chelsea is marrying a Jewish boy. I am kvelling (Yiddish for filled with pride; mostly done by Jewish mothers when their sons become doctors). I cannot wait to see the photos of Hillary, Bill, Barak and Michelle dancing the Hora together. See how much fun Arnold was having?
Miss USA runner up Carrie Prejean, you know the one that Perez Hilton has been ostracizing, (she’s as big as the Swine Flu), received free tits from the Miss California Organization. Awwww. Well, not really. I mean…what?!? I agree that she has the right to her opinion. But the holier-than-thou crowd she runs with is sitting on national television judging gay people for wanting their civil rights have just got to shut up. These far right Republicans are shaking her tits in our faces talking about what it true and right in this world?I don’t think so. Keith Lewis, the co-Director of the Miss California Pageant said, “We wanted to put her in the best possible confidence in order to present herself on a national stage.” Flaunting fake tits at little girls who look up to these drag queens (we are all entitled to our opinions) to “gain confidence” is an abomination. The only cute thing about this whole story is that Carrie Prejean lost the crown. Awwww.
Spending that much on a wedding truly baffles me – and where they got that kind of money even more so. I simply hope they will be happy, because a divorce after a wedding of this size will undoubtedly not make Hilary very happy!
